Ankara, Little Ladies,Little Gentlemen International Children s Theatre Festival
In order to contribute by the drama to 23rd April National Independence and Children’s’ Festival which was given as a gift to children by Atatürk, to provide and introduce the worldwide extension of Turkish Drama by way of children of the world and to serve intercultural development and improvement by following up the developments in abroad, The Directorate General of the Turkish State Theaters has been arranging 23rd April National Independence and Children’s Festival in Ankara between 25th and 30th April each year since 2005.The Festival has taken its name and concept from the utterances of the founder of Modern Turkish Republic -Atatürk- addressed to the children.
The festival wich will be held for the 14th time in the coming days has been hosted a lot of countries such as:Austuria,Bulgaria,Hungary,Belgium,Italy,Russia,Germany,TRNC,Israel,
Romania,Serbia,France,Switzerland,Spain,Luxembourg,Nederlands,Slovania,England,Cuba,Ukraine,Kosovo,Poland,Canada,China,ABD,Sri Lanka, Singapore,Montenegro,Lithuanian, Croatia ...
In the Festival such activities as puppet theaters, shadow drama, black theater, dance theater, opera, ballet and street theater for the children in which many different techniques are used and seminaries and conferences is also being held.
